I've spent 20+ years building and scaling technology companies across Asia and globally, as well as investment banking. Not just the finance function—the whole business. From leading corporate strategy and corporate development at MoneyHero Group (Nasdaq: MNY) through its public listing, to running finance and risk as CFO at Blackpanda, to stepping in as interim Chief Business Officer at Glints and as Founder of Issufy, I've operated across the full range of what it takes to build technology companies that endure.
I lead the finance function the way it should be led in a technology company—as a strategic lever, not an administrative function. That means FP&A, capital planning, and investor relations, but also making sure the numbers tell a story that drives decisions across the business.
At Blackpanda, I own the full finance operation as CFO: strategic finance, board reporting, capital planning, and building the financial infrastructure for a company scaling across APAC. At CareListings, I served as CFO for a US-based healthcare technology platform, overseeing financial operations, strategy, and growth during a period of rapid expansion across 15,000+ senior care facilities. This isn't back-office work—it's sitting at the table where growth decisions are made.
I've been on the inside of a technology company's journey from growth-stage all the way to a Nasdaq listing. As Group Head of Corporate Development at MoneyHero Group, I had oversight across group strategy, FP&A, strategic finance, and broader growth responsibilities—the full scope of what it takes to position a multi-market business for public markets, from expansion planning and competitive positioning to the cross-functional execution needed to withstand that level of scrutiny.
That experience—working across product, commercial, operations, and finance teams simultaneously—is what shapes how I approach every engagement. Strategy isn't a slide deck. It's the hard work of aligning an entire organization around what matters.
Finance leaders who have never run a business tend to think in spreadsheets. I think in businesses. I co-founded Issufy, an equity capital markets distribution platform built for investment banks—taking it from idea through the FCA's Regulatory Sandbox and the Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab alongside 32+ partner banks. At Glints, I stepped in as interim Chief Business Officer and Head of Corporate Development, overseeing business operations, strategic planning, and cross-functional execution. At Blackpanda, I'm not just running finance—I'm shaping the go-to-market strategy for a company expanding across APAC.
That breadth matters. When I'm advising on financial strategy, I understand the GTM implications. When I'm structuring a deal, I understand the operational reality. Having founded, built, and operated technology companies gives me a perspective that pure finance professionals don't have.
Before moving to the operator side, I built deep expertise in capital markets and investment banking at some of the world's leading financial institutions, including Citi and JP Morgan, across London and EMEA. I understand how institutional investors think, how deals get structured, and what makes a company investable—because I've worked both sides of the table.
That background in regulatory frameworks including MiFID II and Market Abuse Regulation, combined with hands-on operating experience, means I can translate between the language of investors and the reality of building a company.
I'm an active angel investor, backing early-stage founders across technology and fintech. This isn't a hobby—it keeps me plugged into where the market is going, what the next generation of founders are building, and how capital formation is evolving across Asia.
The result is a network and perspective that spans founders, VCs, PE firms, and global banking—the kind of connectivity that creates real options for the companies I advise.
I write about the lessons learned scaling companies to IPO, exploring the intersection of technology, business, finance, and culture—with a particular focus on Asia and emerging markets.
Recent topics include deep dives on public technology companies from an investor's perspective, decision-making frameworks for software valuations, and the emotional aspects of strategic sales.
Read on SubstackGiving back to the finance and technology communities is important to me. I serve as a mentor with CFA Society Singapore, providing career guidance to emerging professionals in fintech and finance.
I'm also an active angel investor, supporting founders building innovative solutions across the technology landscape in Asia and beyond.
